Fall Summit Planning

Develop agenda, solicit speakers, assist in logistics and marketing, and plan the annual AEHIT Fall Summit, taking place in San Diego, CA, from October 31 – November 2.

Refine criteria and market existing AEHIT Award series, solicit nominations, select winner and present at the AEHIT Fall Summit.

Certification Exploration

Explore the feasibility and criteria for an AEHIT-sponsored certification/certificate program, or a practicum-based exam, for healthcare IT leaders and executives that can elevate the expertise of a healthcare specific chief technology officer.

Public Policy

Provide expert feedback to policy makers and legislators at the federal level regarding IT policies, specifically those related to telehealth. Explore other opportunities for advocacy representative of CTO interests. Work in tandem with CHIME on key healthcare IT public policy initiatives.
